Requirements

Users will be able to change passwords from LN session. 

•    Minimum password length is 8 characters 

•    Previous 24 passwords shouldn't be used 

•    Minimum Age of password is 24 hours (if a user changes the password, he/she can only change the password again after 24 hours) 

•    Not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters 

•    Contain characters from three out of the following four categories:      

    - English uppercase characters (A through Z)      

    - English lowercase characters (a through z)      

    - Base 10 digits (0 through 9)      

    - Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)

How to change Password

Please navigate to Tools > User Management > Miscellaneous > Change Password in LN.

In the session below, type in your Current password, the New Password you want to change to and then retype the New Password. After that, click on Change. *REMEMBER that once a password is successfully change, it cannot be changed again to a new password within the next 24 hours*

You will get a message in LN that the Password has changed as below.

If the password is not changed successfully, you will receive a different message and then you need to check the new password according to the points below.

Please create the new password keeping in mind the following:

• Password should not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters. Eg. If the full name is "Test User", then the password should not have sequence like "tes" or "ser" or "est"
• Be at least 8 characters in length
• Contain characters from three of the following four categories:
  • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
  • English lowercase characters (a through z)
  • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
  • Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)
• Please avoid repeating old passwords. Provide a new password that was not used before.
